Randy, I agree with you. After listening to Mackenzie, I believe she definitely believes in God. I just hope she will be exposed to the gospel and that her eyes will be opened. She definitely looks much healthier to me and articulates well.
Do you know who :::: deleted :::: is? He is a gay porn actor who is well known and ::: edit :::. I heard from him a couple of months ago unexpectedly. I wrote back to him telling him how my life's direction had changed and about you and Exodus and what Exodus does. He sent me an email this afternoon wanting to know Exodus' website. He said a gay friend of his had once thought about going into seminary. Maybe God is trying to reach ::: delete :::. That would be great
! He is a compassionate, intelligent, articulate guy. I also gave him the address of the exodus blog site. I have to admit I am excited about the possibilites.

Hi Don, I edited your post because if this guy is who you say he is and is popular ... I doubt he would want that information public. Tell him, if he is interested in finding a group or help to give me a call up at the Exodus office. I will pray for him and for Mackenzie.

That sounded wrong... of course he is who you say he is. Being that his profession is what you say it is, as far as being a popular porn actor... I doubt he would want his investigating of Exodus to be public.

Randy, you are absolutely correct. Thanks for editing my comment. What was I thinking...

Probably overwhelmed by the joyous excitement of what the Lord is doing. He is awesome!

Hi,Jonathan. I think you are right. That email did surprise me :) I shared the gospel with another leader in the gay porn industry a few years ago, and he exploded in anger. Yet, he spent time looking for and recommending places for me to stay in Palm Springs. I still pray that God would continue to plant seed and that he would come to know Christ. These guys are really no different than the rest of us. We have all blown it and the remedy for all of us is the same, faith in Jesus Christ and His all sufficiency.

I "liked" your response ... very gracious Mr. Jonathan.

No worries... I've done it enough to have learned that lesson the hard way.

I could say a lot (hush). But I'll settle for being in total agreement about someone who is only a year into recovery. Her insights are most likely very valid; she is human and can slip up in her sobriety. But getting caught with heroin is not a slip of sobriety. I strongly syspect that she was far from sober.

Randog, I'm praying for the process(ing).

Thanks Trent. I don't want to dismiss her 10 years sober. At the same time, when she relapsed ... boy howdy did she relapse! There is some serious stuff there to work, a lot of it relational, that takes much more than a year to work through. Relationships take a lot of time, some for a life time, so ... I am just praying this publicity doesn't short circuit any of that for her.

    Screech!
I missed that she was clean 10 years. Oops.
Sobriety in anything isn't easy (it's darn HARD sometimes- especially with emotions where there's no clear point of soberiety) and 10 years is incredible.
I have a friend who was clean 22 years and relapsed by taking one teeny dose of rx pain meds for the wrong reason. He restarted his clock.
